A story of leather—shaped by Krefeld, craftsmanship, and the ambition to create things that last.

Campaign Archive 2020–2026

We don’t design jackets for a moment.

CRONE stands for a few distinctive cuts that do not disappear after a single season. A good silhouette can endure, evolve, and show a different face in new types of leather.

Our campaigns tell precisely this story: the same attitude in changing light, in new places, and carried by people who don’t use a leather jacket as a disguise, but let it accompany them.

CRONE · Krefeld

From a city like velvet and silk.

CRONE comes from Krefeld. From a city where knowledge of materials, textile craftsmanship, and design have been intertwined for centuries. Krefeld’s velvet and silk industry made the city famous far beyond the Lower Rhine—and created an environment in which architecture, fashion, and design were reimagined early on.

01 · Material

Velvet & Silk

From the 17th century onward, weaving, trade, and textile knowledge grew into an industry that made Krefeld a European center for velvet and silk in the 19th century.

02 · Architecture

Modernity with heritage

The creative spirit of the silk era also shaped the cityscape. In the 1920s, Mies van der Rohe designed Haus Lange and Haus Esters for Krefeld silk industrialists.

03 · Design

Fashion & Design

From the textile tradition emerged schools and creative spaces where material, fashion, and design continue to be reimagined today. This closeness to making is part of our heritage.

Shooting · Winter Session

Winter
Session

Reduced lighting, clean lines, and leather allowed to reveal its structure. In the Winter Session, it was not the setting but the silhouette that took center stage.

Shooting · Arena Studio

Arena
Studio

Raw brickwork, large windows, hard shadows. Between industry and white space, what makes a good cut became visible: presence without exaggeration.

Editorial · Berlin / Lookbook

Berlin
Backstage

Not every campaign begins in front of the camera. Berlin shows what happens in between: styling, lighting tests, short breaks, and the energy of a team before individual moments become a lookbook.

The lookbook is the finished selection. These images show what happens beforehand—precise work, spontaneous moments, and an atmosphere that remains palpable in every image that follows.

Shooting · Diner Berlin

After
Hours

Warm neon, reflective chrome, and leather in the soft light of a Berlin diner. The series feels like a scene from a road movie—close, lively, and deliberately unstaged.

Shooting · Dark City Lights

Dark City
Lights

The city changes its tone as soon as the light shifts. Black grows deeper, metal begins to glow, and a leather jacket becomes part of the architecture.

Shooting · NewDawn

New
Dawn

Wide roads, dusty colors, and movement without overstatement. NewDawn places the jackets in an open landscape—calm in the frame, striking in silhouette.

Shooting · Airfield & City

Jet, City
& Beyond

Between the hangar, asphalt, and city, the jacket becomes a travel companion. Functional enough for movement, clear enough for any setting.

Studio Notes · Material & Detail

Built in
the Studio

In the studio, every distraction falls away. The wide shots show the silhouette; the close-ups show what matters: natural grain, clean stitching, solid metal hardware, and proportions that hold up close.

Material in Focus

Every leather has its own language.

We choose leather based not only on color, but also on hand, drape, and surface. Soft, smooth leather follows the body differently from a washed or waxed quality. Nubuck absorbs light more quietly, while stretch leather combines ease of movement with a clean, close-fitting shape. That is why the cut always determines which type of leather belongs to a jacket.

Leather is a natural material. Small differences in grain, creasing, and color appearance are not flaws but part of its character. Over time, the surface becomes more personal: edges become more finely defined, the hand grows softer, and a new jacket becomes a piece that visibly shows it has been worn.

01 · Hand & Drape

How leather moves

Softness, weight, and recovery determine how closely a jacket sits against the body and how clearly its lines remain visible.

02 · Surface

Matte, washed, or waxed

The finish changes more than just the appearance. It gives black greater depth, emphasizes the grain, and makes light look different on every jacket.

03 · Construction

Details that guide the material

Seam lines, zippers, snap fasteners, and edge finishing give the leather structure without obscuring its natural surface.

CRONE · From Krefeld

What remains is character.

The settings change. Leather gains depth over time, and a jacket becomes more personal the longer it is worn. The core remains: a clean cut, honest materials, and designs not tied to a season.
